在看完一些基本的概述后，我大概只剩下一个月时间，当时我已经没有时间把精力投入在别的参考书的作文题上，于是我只关注以往真题出现过的题目，并做了很充分的整理和brainstorm.

以下是我的分类和说明，希望大家能参考着看，有时间最好自己尝试着去分类，或修改和补充我的真题分类。限于时间关系，我只能把题目贴出来，大家最好去仔细读一下真题里面的QUOTATION，要读懂题目究竟表达的是什么意思。

一．主流权威，他人观点，媒体广告。

1．Is the opinion of the majority―in government or in any other circumstances―a poor guide? (2005.3)

2．Are people afraid to speak out against authority, whether the authority is an individual, a group, or a government? (2005.5)

3．Does worrying too much about other people’s opinions prevent us from seeing things clearly? (2005.5)

4．Do newspapers, magazines, television, radio, movies, the Internet, and other media determine what is important to most people? (2005.6)

5．Is praising others, even if the praise is excessive or undeserved, a necessary part of life? (2005.11)

6．Is it important to question the ideas and decisions of people in positions of authority? (2006.10)

7．Is criticism―judging or finding fault with the ideas and actions of others―essential for personal well-being and social progress?

8．Should our perceptions of beauty be influenced by the perceptions of beauty of other people? (2005.11)

9．Are established rules too limited to guide people in real-life situations? (2006.6)

10.Do we need other people to identify who we are？

11.Are people more likely to be productive and successful when they ignore the opinion of others?

这一类的关键词主要是围绕他人的意见观点对自己以及别人的影响。其中主流权威这些是常见的观点，这里应该要有个辨证的把握，不要迷信他人观点，但也要肯定他人的建议的作用和影响。当然影响也有正面和负面的，就看你站在哪个角度上去说。最好这一类的偏重于一方面去写论点，这样比较好统一，以一盖全。

二．创造力，新思想。

1．Is creativity needed more than ever in the world today? (2005.3)

2．Does progress depend on people with new ideas rather than on people whose ideas are based on the current way of doing things? (2005.5)

3．Can people ever be truly original? (2007.10)

4．Is it always necessary to find new solutions to problems? (2007.11)

5．Is it always better to be original than to imitate or use the ideas of others? (2008.1)

6．Do closed doors make us creative?

7. Should people always prefer the new things, ideas, or values to those of the past?

这一类的题目强调创造力对个人及社会的促进和推动作用，出题角度较一致，从过去和现在说都可，可以联系科技艺术的例子，属于比较好写的一类题目。

三．选择，决定。

1．Are people better at making observations, discoveries, and decisions if they remain neutral and impartial? (2005.3)

2．Do success and happiness depend on the choices people make rather than on factors beyond their control? (2006.11)

3．Does having a large number of options to choose from make people happy? (2007.11)

4．Should people choose one of two opposing sides of an issue, or is the truth usually found "in the middle"(2007.12)

5．Are people’s lives the results of the choice they make?

6．Do bad choices and good choices equally have negative consequences?

7．Are we free to make our own decisions or are limited in the choices we make?

8．Is it important to understand people’s motivations before judge their actions?

9．Are people’s actions motivated by a desire for power over others?(2008.5)

这一类的题目有些分散，但是都围绕着choice 和decision从各个角度探讨它们与人的主观能动性和客观约束的关系。每个人都要做很多重要的决定，如何去正确的做出选择，以及这些选择对我们未来及他人的影响，都是值得思考的。有些题目可能不太好想观点，那可以尝试着用别的题目的观点往里面套，找出共通的地方。

四．个人与集体，个性和自我。

1．Is a person responsible, through the example he or she sets, for the behavior of other people? (2005.3)

2．Do we put too much value on the ideas or actions of individual people? (2006.11)

3．Should people take more responsibility for solving problems that affect their communities or the nation in general? (2007.1)

4．Is it always best to determine one's own views of right and wrong, or can we benefit from following the crowd? (2007.5)

5．Is there any value for people to belong only to a group or groups with which they have something in common? (2008.1)

6．Are organizations or groups most successful when their members pursue individual wishes and goals? (2008.3)

7．Do people accomplish more when they are allowed to do things in their own way? (2006.1)

8．Should each individual decide what and how to learn? (2006.4)

9．Does the success of a community―whether it is a class, a team, a family, a nation, or any other group―depend upon people's willingness to limit their personal interests? (2006.5)

10. Do we tend to accept the opinions of others instead of developing our own independent ideas? (2006.6)

11. Is it more valuable for people to fit in than to be unique and different? (2007.3)

这一类题目似乎跟第一类有些交集，但这里探讨的更多是个人与集体的辨证关系。每个人都属于集体中的一员，处理好与集体的关系是很重要的，但保持个性和自我也是很重要的。个人与集体利益价值观之间的冲突，往往也是SAT作文题目的取材点。可以参照第一类的部分观点，但也应更多地把论证集中在比较个人与集体上。
